Daunting...
Ok. So, I’ve had a LiveJournal account for years, now. At intervals, I’ve also run my own blogging software. Even before LiveJournal and software to make blogging easy, I was hand-cranking HTML to get my (worthless, trivial, etc.) ideas and ramblings out there.
Unfortunately, having someplace to put well thought out - or at least not “blurby” - posts is somewhat daunting.

Less than a week
So, it’s Tuesday, January 19th, 2010. In just five more days, I officially hit the big 4-0. Actuarially speaking, I’m well into my middle age. Given family history, I actually may not yet be into middle age. Toss in the variable of the epilepsy medications that are trying to eat my liver, and it’s hard to tell where I am on the actuarial curve.

So, I received the following in email. All I gotta ask is, how heavy is this damned ATM card that FedEx would charge $200 to ship it. And, shouldn’t they really say they’re someplace other than Nigeria? I mean, by now, even my grandmother won’t trust things that mention Nigeria and come in email.

Got up this morning around 09:00. It was a lovely, grey, rainy day outside, but couldn’t get back to sleep. So, decided to roll downstairs to do a bit of a workout - forty-five minutes with the Wii Fit (I know: not “real” exercise, but it’s better than nothing) and a number of reps with the dumbbells.
